What happened to his face?
Keith Richards’ craggy face proves that living a rockstar lifestyle can take a toll on the skin. And his chain smoking habit has resulted in teeth so yellow that they would scare the hijeebees out of any groupie! Age 68, the founding member of the Rolling Stones, has admitted that a career notoriously awash with booze and drugs has made it difficult for him to remember what happened yesterday. Classy.
The left pic above shows Richards in recent years while the right one is a digital enhancement of what he could look like with some non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments available at DLK on Avenue – the downtown clinic of our go-to derm Dr. Lisa Kellett. Here’s what the good doc suggests for this rebel rouser.
“Most men over sixty that I see as patients don’t want to look 20 again, and don’t want surgery but they do want to look fresher and less tired. There are a number of non-surgical options which can be used. For example, Botox to relax the frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet; Injectables
and hyraluronic acid fillers
can be used to fill in furrows and lines and to lift the jaw line; Profractional
laser treatment works well for deep wrinkles and scars; and finally, Thermage is a great treatment used on men to tighten the neck and overall face with no downtime.”
