Marc Jacobs Skin Tee
Miley Cyrus is the latest celebrity to bare all for Marc Jacobs’ skin cancer awareness t-shirts, a campaign he started in 2006.
The 20-year-old pop star now joins the ranks of other female celebs who have posed nude the “Protect the Skin You’re In” charity. These celebrities include: Helena Christensen, Winona Ryder, Eva Mendes, Heidi Klum, Dita von Teese, Naomi Campbell, Selma Blair, Carolyn Murphy, Joss Stone, Julianna Moore, Hilary Swank, Alison Lohman, Christy Turlington, and Chole Sevigny (see below).
The sexy tee’s are $35 each at Marc Jacobs.com. With all proceeds from the sale of each tee benefiting the NYU Skin Cancer Institute and NYU Langone Medical Center, this is one celeb-endorsed trend we’re all over. However keep in mind that a standard cotton shirt, like these MJ tees, only provides a sun protection factor (SPF) of 5 to 8 (American Melanoma Foundation), so don’t forget to slop on the sunscreen under your clothing to fully protect the skin you’re in.
